Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of the vast Australian Outback!
Depart Leigh Creek tracking north for the Marree Man and onward to Lake Eyre. Enjoy the sight of Australia's largest salt lake by travelling over Lake Eyre South and North; Belt Bay and Jackboot Bay, islands and the Warburton Groove. Following the river systems to Goyder Lagoon, straddle the Tirari and Simpson Deserts before landing at Birdsville. After a leisurely lunch at the Birdsville Hotel, fly southeast for the Coongie Lakes and a stop at the Burke and Wills Dig Tree. Overnight at the Innamincka Hotel and soak up the heritage of this outback outpost. Kick off the second day with either a boat or ground tour (subject to availability), departing after lunch for Leigh Creek via lakes Blanche & Callabonna and the northern end of the Flinders Ranges including Arkaroola.
